I believe that learning takes place outside of the classroom as well as in. The IB through volunteer work and the intertwined curriculum encourages not only academic achievement but personal growth as well. Students must reflect on their learning and volunteer work and as a result they themselves are responsible for a large part of their learning. The IB educates students to be open-minded and be aware of other cultures and beliefs opening doors to the world. This ensures they become well-rounded citizen of the world.
I have been an IB teacher for 6 years and CAS Coordinator for 4 years as well as an English B examiner for 3 years and I look forward to continuing my IB career at Kőrösi.
