Az iskola dolgozói

Nemes Veronika

I became a teacher about 20 years ago, because I have had children and youth in my life for as long as I can remember. I was a camp counselor, ran after school programs, worked in a Kindergarten class teaching English, and was a leader in a youth group, all before age 20.

It seemed only natural to pursue teaching as a career. About once a month, I experience something that makes me say “I love this job.” How many people can say the same? I am genuinely interested in education, curriculum, and school systems. I have studied and taught in three different countries, and it is fascinating to compare them. Korosi became of interest, because it was one of the only institutions in Hungary that has recognized the need to cater to students from abroad, many of Hungarian descent, who are now living in Hungary. This shows a willingness to recognize our changing world and is proof of the kind of innovative approach to education I look forward to being a part of.
